Dr. Kristen Roop, DVM

Dr. Roop began practicing veterinary medicine with her father (Dr. Byrum) at the Twelve Mile Veterinary Clinic in 1999. She purchased the practice in 2020. Dr. Roop was born and raised in Twelve Mile. She is a 1991 graduate of Caston High School; a 1995 graduate of Bradley University; and a 1999 graduate of Purdue University's School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Roop lives near West Lafayette with her husband Fred. They have 2 sons, Matthew and John; and currently have 3 dogs named Walter, Sammy, Vergil; and a cat named KB.

Kathy, Practice Manager

Kathy has been working here full-time since 1993.  She lives in the Twelve Mile area with her husband Mike, and has 3 children.  Kathy currently has a Golden Retriever named Maggie, and 3 cats, Cosmo, Frito, and Barb.

Kelley, RVT

Kelley joined our staff in 2006. She graduated from the Purdue Veterinary Technology program in 2011. Kelley is a Registered Veterinary Technician. She currently has 2 dogs and many cats!

Clara, Veterinary Assistant

Clara joined our team in 2020. She lives on a farm in the Twelve Mile area with her family and many animals. She can often be found helping Dr. Roop with various duties. 

Rebekah, Veterinary Assistant

Rebekah joined our staff in 2020. She attends Manchester University and is studying pre-veterinary medicine. 

Brandi, Groomer

Brandi joined our team in 2017.
